Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Eligible for Alabama medical licence and controlled substance certificate (all USMLE steps completed at application) and federal DEA registration; no minimum USMLE score; must meet VA eligibility checklist.
International applicants
IMGs accepted with a valid ECFMG certificate.
Visa support
The division can sponsor J-1 visas; does not sponsor H-1B unless the applicant is currently within the US.
Licence requirement
Must be eligible for an Alabama medical licence
