Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Graduate of a US medical school, or non-US school with valid ECFMG certificate; completed ACGME/ACGME-I, AOA, RCPSC or CFPC-accredited residency
- International applicants
- International medical graduates with ECFMG certificate and an accredited residency eligible
- Visa support
- Institution policyclinical J-1 (Alien Physician) sponsored by ECFMG, coordinated by the MGB Office for Global Professionals and Scholars (Training Program Liaison for MGH/BWH); GPS also processes H-1B, TN, O-1 and other visas - availability is programme-specific

- Institution policyMassachusetts limited licence (for trainees in ACGME programmes or fellowships at facilities hosting ACGME programmes; requires USMLE Steps 1-2 or MCCQE) or full Massachusetts licence; application initiated via the training facility
