Eligibility

Undergraduate degree registrable with MMC; postgraduate paediatric degree from country of origin; full-time paediatric hospital experience; recommendation letter from head of paediatrics; evidence of sufficient funding for the whole training; General UMMC requirements: Master's degree/clinical master or equivalent recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC); registration with MMC; Professional Visit Pass (PLIK) approval; support of Head of Clinical Department; approval by UMMC Credentialing and Privileging Committee

International applicants

Yes - designed for candidates holding a paediatric postgraduate degree from their country of origin; approval from home hospital/country and UMMC required before start

Visa support

Professional Visit Pass (PLIK) approved by the Immigration Department of Malaysia is a stated requirement
