Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Postgraduate surgical qualification (e.g. MSurg, MMed Surg) recognised by the National Specialist Registry; at least 1 year as a general surgeon after gazettement; two referees (one HOD or HPB consultant); overseas applicants must produce equivalent qualifications from their country of origin. General: Master's degree/clinical master or equivalent recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC); registration with MMC; Professional Visit Pass (PLIK) approval; supported by Head of Clinical Department; approved by UMMC Credentialing and Privileging Committee
International applicants
