Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Completion of a clinical fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine from an accredited Canadian programme or equivalent; eligibility for CPSBC licensure; preference for foundational neonatal cardiac ultrasound training
- International applicants
- Equivalent (non-Canadian) neonatal-perinatal training accepted per call for applications
- Visa support
- Institution policy (UBC PGME): foreign trainees must hold an IRCC work permit for the whole training period; the sponsoring department/PGME submits an offer of employment to IRCC and the fellow applies under the LMIA-exempt category
