- Basic medical degree from an accredited medical school and the relevant national licensing examination where applicable; At least 12 months of satisfactorily completed internship or housemanship; Current medical registration and good standing in the country of practice; Active registered clinical practice during the three years before the Singapore registration application; At least three years of medical-officer-equivalent experience; Government, regional health authority or eligible home-institution sponsorship; FRCS (Orth) or equivalent; Ability to commit for at least 6 months
