Graduated from an accredited Canadian ObGyn program (Royal College of Canada) or hold a valid ECFMG medical licence and be allowed to work in Alberta as a Qualified Educational Surgical Assistant

Possible for ECFMG-certified applicants allowed to work in Alberta as a Qualified Educational Surgical Assistant
Visa support
Institution policyInternational fellows need an IRCC work permit valid for the whole fellowship; PGME supplies the LMIA-exemption number for the application and fellows cannot start (or enter Canada for training) without it

Must be allowed to work in Alberta (e.g., as a Qualified Educational Surgical Assistant if not Royal College-trained)
