Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Institution policymedical degree acceptable to the CPSA; completed residency (in Canada or elsewhere) acceptable to the supporting department; pursuing advanced training beyond residency certification; must meet all CPSA requirements (credentials of non-Canadian graduates verified via Physiciansapply.ca)

Visa support
Institution policyInternational fellows need an IRCC work permit valid for the whole fellowship; PGME supplies the LMIA-exemption number for the application and fellows cannot start (or enter Canada for training) without it
