Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- UEG Young Associates who are clinicians in digestive health, fluent in English (min. B2), residing in Europe, a Mediterranean-bordering country or a UEG National Member Society country, and in the last two years of clinical training or within 2 years of completion; one participation only. Host minimum experience: Second half of GI training. Host prefers: Medical gastroenterologist / hepatologist, Gastroenterologist.

- Yes – host should ideally be in a different country from the home institution; host notes for EU/non-EU citizens: knowledge of English (not necesarry but helpful: knowledge of French and Dutch)

- Registration for practice in host country required: No, but an MD diploma needs to be provided. Hands-on: Applied to patients. Trainee tasks: If a MD and if approved by our medical council (case per case decision), everything under supervision.
