UEG Clinical Visiting Fellowship host centre (Endoscopy, IBD, Hepatology, Pancreatico-biliary, Functional disorders) at Klinikum Klagenfurt am Wörthersee – Innere Medizin & Gastroenterologie (IMuG). Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
UEG Young Associates who are clinicians in digestive health, fluent in English (min. B2), residing in Europe, a Mediterranean-bordering country or a UEG National Member Society country, and in the last two years of clinical training or within 2 years of completion; one participation only. Host prefers: Medical gastroenterologist / hepatologist, Surgeon (with GI focus), Radiologist with interest in GI imaging and interventions.
International applicants
Yes – host should ideally be in a different country from the home institution; host notes for EU/non-EU citizens: Not for observers.
Visa support
Not provided – visa arrangements are the fellow's responsibility
Licence requirement
Registration for practice in host country required: Not necessarily for an observer.. Hands-on: No hands-on training possible. Trainee tasks: That depends on his status with regards to EU labor law and approbation in Austria: mostly, they will act as observers.
