Eligibility and visa

Eligibility

Rehabilitation specialist preferred; physicians with at least 3 years working in rehabilitation also eligible. English or Korean communication required. Immunisation and application documents are mandatory.

International applicants

Open to eligible overseas physicians, subject to track-specific experience, language and capacity requirements

Visa support

Visa documentation is part of admission; confirm the required route with Severance. Approval is not guaranteed.

Licence requirement

Observation does not grant Korean clinical privileges. Hands-on routes, where offered, require separate MOHW permission, prerequisite training and designated supervision.

Published recurring schedule (duration / start / application window): 1 month / 1st day of every month / 4 months prior to the starting date; 6 months / March 1 / (Previous Year) October 1 ~ 30; 6 months / September 1 / April 1 ~ 30; 1 year / March 1 / (Previous Year) October 1 ~ 30; 1 year / September 1 / April 1 ~ 30. Confirm the next intake with the department.
