USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1–3 passed; at least 1 year prior ACGME (or Canadian) residency/fellowship training; ABS or Canadian board eligible/certified, or general surgery certificate from a board outside US/Canada; US/Canadian graduates or ECFMG-certified foreign graduates
