Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Completed subspecialty training in internal medicine and/or medical oncology or hematology; eligible for CPSO licensure
International applicants
Non-Canadian applicants who meet CPSO clinical-fellow licensure requirements contact the Fellowship Program Director; citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE must apply through their sponsoring agency to the PGME Office (UofT PGME page)
Visa support
PGME Office provides successful sponsored applicants with documentation to apply for a work permit (UofT PGME page); otherwise not stated on official page
Licence requirement
Must be eligible for a CPSO certificate authorizing postgraduate education (educational licence); applicant must be recognized as a specialist in the jurisdiction where they practised (UofT PGME page)
