Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Canadian applicants: completed ObGyn training in an RCPSC-accredited program and eligible for RCPSC ObGyn examinations; confirm eligibility for CPSBC registration
International applicants
IMGs considered only if fully sponsored by an external agency (no fellowship funding available; self-funded fellows not accepted)
Visa support
Institution policy (UBC PGME): foreign trainees must hold an IRCC work permit for the whole training period; the sponsoring department/PGME submits an offer of employment to IRCC and the fellow applies under the LMIA-exempt category
Licence requirement
Must be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
