Overview

The overall aim of the fellowship programme is to produce independent and competent anaesthesiologists with the experience, skills and knowledge, to manage patients requiring major surgery, with the highest standard of safe and comprehensive perioperative care.

Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
An adaptable anaesthesiologist keen on an experiential learning journey in a high- volume tertiary referral hospital; Department requirement: Postgraduate medical qualifications for e.g. Master of Medicine or equivalent. ; Passed the National Board of Anaesthesiology examination in the country of conferment of postgraduate qualification
International applicants
Yes - SGH fellowship and attachment programmes are offered to foreign doctors for short-term clinical training (more than 1000 international doctors since 2000)
Visa support
Training Employment Pass application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) upon successful SMC Temporary Registration
Licence requirement
Temporary Registration (for training) with the Singapore Medical Council
