All USMLE or COMLEX steps passed before application; completed ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency.

International applicants

Non-US citizens/permanent residents train under the ECFMG-sponsored J-1 (Alien Physician) programme.

ECFMG-sponsored J-1 visa is the standard visa for fellows who are not US citizens or permanent residents.
