Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Associate Consultants (General Surgery); Department requirement: Completed GS residency or Advanced surgical training in General Surgery. Note: Applicants can directly apply to this training programme without having to undergo any basic fellowship programme in Singapore, as long as all admission/ eligibility criteria are met.
International applicants
Yes - SGH fellowship and attachment programmes are offered to foreign doctors for short-term clinical training (more than 1000 international doctors since 2000)
Visa support
Training Employment Pass application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) upon successful SMC Temporary Registration
Licence requirement
Temporary Registration (for training) with the Singapore Medical Council
