Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Plastic Surgeons with minimum 2-year clinical experience after obtaining relevant postgraduate medical qualification; Department requirement: Postgraduate medical qualification e.g. MRCS or equivalent ; Minimum 2 years of postgraduate training experience in relevant specialty (after obtaining the postgraduate medical qualification) ; Current position as Registrar, Resident or equivalent (AST level)
- International applicants
- Yes - SGH fellowship and attachment programmes are offered to foreign doctors for short-term clinical training (more than 1000 international doctors since 2000)
- Visa support
- Training Employment Pass application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) upon successful SMC Temporary Registration
- Licence requirement
- Temporary Registration (for training) with the Singapore Medical Council
