Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Citizen or permanent resident of an ESC member country; CIED specialist with less than 5 years' practice after fellowship; preferably under 40; EHRA member; certified B2 in host language; >50 CIED implants and ≥50 follow-ups
- International applicants
- Restricted to citizens or permanent residents of ESC member countries (ESC National Cardiac Societies, which include some non-EU countries; see the rules' appendix). Training must be in an ESC member country other than the applicant's own. Final validation subject to visa approval where needed

- Grant validation subject to visa approval; fellow arranges visa and paperwork

- Certified B2 level in the language required by the host; training status (hands-on or hands-off) per local regulations
