Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Citizen or permanent resident of an ESC member country; EP specialist with less than 5 years' practice after fellowship; preferably under 40; EHRA member; certified B2 in host language; >50 catheter ablations as first or second operator
International applicants
Restricted to citizens or permanent residents of ESC member countries (ESC National Cardiac Societies, which include some non-EU countries; see the rules' appendix). Training must be in an ESC member country other than the applicant's own. Final validation subject to visa approval where needed

Grant validation subject to visa approval; fellow arranges visa and paperwork
Licence requirement
Certified B2 level in the language required by the host; training status per local regulations
