Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Current position as registrar, Senior resident or equivalent; Department requirement: Postgraduate medical qualification e.g. MMEd or equivalent ; Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate training experience in relevant specialty(after obtaining the postgraduate medical qualification) ; Current position as registrar, Senior resident or equivalent
International applicants
Yes - SGH fellowship and attachment programmes are offered to foreign doctors for short-term clinical training (more than 1000 international doctors since 2000)
Visa support
Training Employment Pass application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) upon successful SMC Temporary Registration
Licence requirement
Temporary Registration (for training) with the Singapore Medical Council
