Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Certified plastic surgeons in Canada or their country of origin; IMGs must provide official specialty certification from their national certifying body
- International applicants
- Fellows come from all parts of the world; TOEFL-iBT 93 (speaking 24) if instruction not in English; must be eligible for a Canadian work visa
- Visa support
- Institution policyinternational clinical fellows need an IRCC work permit; the PGME Office issues an LMIA-exempt offer of employment number and supports the work permit application
- Licence requirement
- Must be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), with CMPA coverage
